So I've been thinking for a while now of helping out lower leveled members to level up faster. Unfortunately, up until this moment we've had too few people to get this done.
Now that we're about to have 2 parties of 200+, we can start thinking about ways to do this.
My first thoughts are that we make 2 parties of our strongest 6 people (so 3 people in each party) that would take one lower level into their group for one day, just to help them out, then rotate the next person in. Like this, we will start to really level up quickly.
It's something that a lot of top guilds do, and something I've been wanting to set up.
Now, I have a couple of things to add here:
This will slow down the 6 strongest people (slightly), so I imagine they might not like the idea (I'm one of them and my selfish side tells me that too, it's normal).
In response to this, I say that one of the responsibilities of the guild is to constantly make the path to higher levels easier for the new recruits. It's much, much easier now, with our buildings higher and all the help we have now with parties and advice and everything, to level up quickly than it was when I started with the guild.
Now we're taking the next step down that road. We're all benefiting from the hard work that those who came before us have put in, and now you're about to add to that tradition *wipes back a tear*.
