As far as spending gold on these categories, this is what I would advise and I wish I'd been stricter with myself about doing:
Max Coin Count, Gold Rate, Triple Size, and Huge Loots, in that order. The other hunting upgrades are party based, everyone gets the benefit of the level of the person in the party who has it the highest. You might want to coordinate with your party for a few of those, I'd start with the ones that get you more gold.
Next I'd focus on Auto Base Damage. Crits are good as well, but if you can get Base Damage maxed before level 200 it'll really really benefit you. Once you get yourself to 200, the cap on base damage goes up by 10 every level. Upgrading past 200 gives way bigger benefits than the previous upgrades. (Auto Speed you should be using AP on.)
I mostly ignore Click Damage, you only use it for challenges and with how much you can get carried through you really don't need to worry too much about it, I'd say the gold is better spent on Auto Damage and Sacrifices.

I have 200 auto damage, but I checked and getting 200 Crit. Multiplier is more cost efficient DPS I'm at 187 for that atm then I'll be working on auto damage again.

I did have crit multiplier maxed before I did my auto damage to 200 so I can't say for sure but now my optimizer says auto damage is five times better than crit chance or double attack. That was my problem, I didn't account for how much better auto damage becomes past 200 so I just listened to the optimizer saying to keep doing crits.
